Wahoo`s Fish Taco in Aliso Viejo

I love how Wahoo's is a place you can always count on! Been visiting this chain for 20 years and they consistently have great, fresh food at an affordable price with excellent service. Who could ask for more?

The best in Cuban food. Claims to have the best Cuban, but it is more of in the top 5 best. The seafood, however, is the greatest!! I highly recommend the codfish balls. If you're in Miami, you have to go to Versailles.

Love the shrimp tacos! They use teriyaki on their shrimp which was unexpectedly delightful.

food is pretty good, but not that exciting overall. Service is provided by young people without a lot of experience. They try hard but fumble a lot

I am bsolutely not a fan of fish. But the tacos at Wahoo's are so good I crave them. This is a definite top ten on my favorite food in southern California.

Wahoos has delicious unique flavors and good deals on the beer of the month. The vibe is dope in every sense of the word. What's not to like? Every single time it's amazing.

Had lunch here with my sister. Food was great, staff was very nice also. Wish we had a Wahoo's Fish Taco down our way now that I've tried them.

I like this particular location. It's in a nice sized mall with lots of parking. There's not a lot of outdoor seating right on their patio, but there are other options nearby. The staff is friendly, helpful (I've asked questions about ingredients and staff picks), and they keep everything clean. Pictured here is the Kalua Pig Bowl - a personal favorite.

It’s just ok. We used to love wahoos, but the quality has really gone downhill. I used to get the banzai bowl because it had lots of veggies. Now it has maybe 2 little pieces of broccoli, 1/2 a mushroom and a couple pepper pieces...just pitiful. So I tried the banzai burrito, but it was so wet, it was like soup in a tortilla. And again, minimal veggies. My son always gets the white rice, but now it’s this underdone “spice” rice (not the white rice it used to be). We keep giving wahoos chances because it used to be so good, but it’s just not anymore. :(

At the first moment you enter this place team give you a great feeling. Very courteous team, it is a nice place to enjoy with friends and colleagues or with your date. yummy food, professional chief cook and stuff, honest cost and professional service. Warmly recommended.

I ordered their fish bowl. The fish was bland and no taste. The rice was hard and under-cooked. The worst experience I had at Wahoo's. Service was good but the food was really bad and expensive. I used to love Wahoo's but they changed their menus over the years and it's worse.

My family loves Wahoo's! I especially love the Screaming Burrito. If you like spicy, try this topped with green chili sauce. There's so.ething for everyone here. My youngest love the kids rice bowl with tofu. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Friendly, helpful staff.

First time I ate fish taco it was great. Went back again to get fish taco take out. Got home to a very unpleasant surprise. Pieces of fish instead of fish in deep fried coating like before. Tortilla was different too. Last time tortilla was yellow corn and slightly toasted on grill which added a great flavor to taco . I will never trust take out there again. Taco was terrible.

It's Wahoo's most people know what they get when they go here. Love the spicy chicken.

Great food at a great price. Wahoos had a great Mexican oriented menu with diverse Salad, burrito and taco options. This location (like many others) also serves wine and beer. Outdoor seating is available.

I’ve been seeing the same workers here coming up on over 3 years. I see how they all work very hard and they’ll very nice and friendly. The cooks on the other hand, 50% of the time normally find a way to miss up my order even though my order was correctly taken. Which has me stopped coming here regularly

This place had a lot of potential to be pretty great. The atmosphere was fun and the food looked amazing.. however the service we received was deplorable. We walked in on a Saturday night at 9:20pm.. 40 minutes to close and we were the last order they filled. Everyone who walked in behind us was turned down and told that the place was closed. The employees were rude and put out by the fact that we were there. Our food was rushed and undercooked. The rice was crunchy and the chicken was like rubber. We were told they were out of fish and carne asada so chicken was the only option. Employees began closing the store down at 9:30.. turning music and lights off essentially forcing us out. They neglected to even wipe our table down before walking out behind us and locking the doors.I will not be returning to this establishment nor would I recommend it. 👎👎👎

This is a really nice Wahoo's. Great dining area with lots of seating and consistently good food. In a larger shopping area where parking can be challenging. Can be cold at times, bring a light jacket.

My Wife and I just spent the night here and we had a very nice time and it was worth it.

Came into this establishment for dinner. Was greeted as soon as I walked up to the counter. I explained that it was my first time here and they were very patient with me. I ordered the two taco entree with wild caught fish, white rice and black beans. Very delicious and tasted fresh! The portions were great too! Thank you for the great service!
